UPSC 07 Posts recruitment of Deputy Central Intelligence Officer/Technical (Wireless Telegraphy) in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs.
UPSC now decided to conduct a Recruitment Test (date of exam) for filling up these posts in the Forenoon of 06.01.2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon, at the Centers indicated below. The more details like Scheme and Syllabus for the Recruitment of DCIO exam Test are given below…

SCHEME OF THE TEST:
(a) The test will be of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 100 marks.
(b) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choice answers.
(c) The medium of the Test will be English only.
(d) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

It comprises the following broad areas:
(I) Scientific temper relating to basic understanding of Science including everyday observation & experience.
(ii) Instrumentation
(iii) Fundamentals of Basic Electronics
(iv) Fundamentals of Computerization and Network
(v) Aptitude Data and Image Interpretation
(vi) Communication Skills
(vii) Basic Questions on Maintenance
(viii) Current events regarding Science and Technology
(ix) Fundamentals of Information Security
